Shine! Protect is a cosmetic maintenance plan that helps you erase the signs of everyday wear and keep your car’s appearance pristine - all without filing a claim on your insurance. Repairs are carried out using industry-leading SMART repair techniques, leaving damage virtually invisible. Minor dents, scratches, scuffs, and chips become simple fixes, not long-term blemishes.
How does Shine! Protect work?

Minor cosmetic damage tends to be unavoidable. Whether it’s a rogue shopping trolley, a tight parking space, or a flying stone, small scratches and scuffs are part of everyday life. - Make a request via app or online
You can submit a repair request using the Shine! Protect smartphone app or via the website. - Assessment & approval
If the damage falls within the scope of the policy, it’s approved! - Convenient repair by expert technician
A Shine! repair technician can either come to your home or workplace, at a time convenient to you, and performs the cosmetic repair.

How do I purchase Shine! Protect?
The policy will be offered to you when you come to purchase a vehicle at our dealership. The policy can be purchased as a one-off cost, or you can spread out the cost through monthly payments. You will then be covered as soon as you drive off our forecourt.

What kind of damage is covered?
Shine! Protect covers minor cosmetic damage, including scratches and scuffs up to 30cm in length and paint chips up to 5mm in diameter. The damage must be within size limits and not require a full body panel respray.

What damage isn’t covered under Shine! Protect?
Shine! Protect does not cover panel replacement, stickers and decals, beading and mouldings, cracked or dented bumpers, or their replacement. Repairs will only be completed if an invisible result can be achieved by using Shine! technology. Third-party liability and body shop repairs are excluded.

What are the limits or exclusions?
Damage must be “minor” (e.g. small chips, scratches, dents) as defined in the agreement. Repairs larger than the permitted size (e.g. dents > 30 cm, chips > 5 mm) may not be covered and the policy must be active at the time of the damage. Third-party liability and body shop repairs are excluded.

Where are the repairs carried out?
All repairs are carried out at your home or workplace by a Shine! Professional. There's no need to visit a body shop or be without your car.

How do I make a Shine! Protect claim?
Claims can be made easily online or on the Shine! app. This facility is only available to customers that hold Shine! policies.
